Every Pro Tint DMV install carries a lifetime warranty on the film and the labor. No deductible, no prorating, no arguing at the counter.
Window film has two ways to fail. The film itself can break down, which shows up as fading, a purple cast or a cloudy look. Or the installation can fail, which shows up as bubbles that never cleared, edges that lift or a corner that starts to peel. Our warranty covers both for as long as you own the vehicle.
Call (301) 307-1414 or book a warranty visit online and mention it in the notes. A technician looks at the panel with you, confirms it is a film or install failure and schedules the replacement. Most single-panel replacements are done the same day. There is no charge and no paperwork beyond confirming you are the original owner.
Because we almost never have to use it. Clean glass, the right film and patient installers mean the failure rate is very low. Most of the warranty calls we get turn out to be cure haze in the first week, which clears on its own. Read our aftercare guide if you are unsure what is normal and what is not.
Bubbling, peeling, lifting at the edges, fading, discoloration and the film turning purple. If the film or the installation fails in any of those ways, we remove the affected panel and install new film at no charge.
For as long as you own the vehicle the film was installed on. It does not transfer to a new owner when the vehicle is sold.
Glass that cracks or breaks, film damaged by razor blades, abrasive pads, ammonia cleaners or items rubbing against the inside of the glass, and film removed or reworked by another shop. Normal cure haze and small water pockets during the first week are not defects.
Bring your invoice if you have it. If you do not, we can look you up by name and plate at any of our four shops, since every Pro Tint install is logged in the same booking system.
